Stewart tells Congress to ‘get the f*ck out’
Source: RawReplay
By David Edwards

Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart suggested Monday that when it comes to the debt ceiling crisis, Congress is equivalent to a skunk with its head stuck in a jar of peanut butter.

After reports said that Democrats were willing to give up revenue increases and some Republicans had actually agreed to revenue increases, Stewart noted, “So both sides switched, everybody caved and no one agreed.”

“Democrat Harry Reid’s new plan is now to the right or Republican John Boehner, whose new plan says, ‘Hey, this sucks so much, let’s do it again in nine months,’” he observed.

“My question to Congress — and I think a question that many Americans may be sharing as of tonight — is this: Do you want out of this relationship so bad, but don’t have the balls to leave so you’ve all decided to act like such giant assholes, you force us to break up with you. Because if so, just get the fuck out.”
