"My choice early in life was either to be a piano-player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference. I, for one believe the piano player job to be much more honorable than current politicians."

But, the music is better in the whorehouses, the charges are less, the customer service is better, and the patrons are more likely to get something for their money.

I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence."
A piano player in a whorehouse is less dangerous than a politician and much less so than a politician's financial backers. A piano player might steal the keys on the piano, but politicians and financial bastards steal the keys to whole nations.
