Rep Danny Davis receives threat - says that he is next

Davis claims email threat

U.S. Rep. Danny Davis said his office received an e-mail threat on Sunday.

"It was some person who emailed one of my staff persons and said that 'Danny Davis is next,'" Davis said. Davis, a Chicago Democrat, said the Capitol Police and Chicago police have been notified.

Chicago police news affairs could not immediately confirm that a report of a threat had been filed with the department.

A spokeswoman with the Capitol Police did not immediately respond to a call and an e-mail tonight.

Davis said he would typically ignore such a threat, but a shooting Saturday that injured U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, killed six and injured 14, prompted him to be on alert.

2. I saw a post on Palin's FB page (the one that still has the target map up)
just a few minutes ago that said, "19 more to go."

I had kept hearing that she took that map down, but it's still up on her FB page in the notes section.

I didn't catch the name of the person before I flagged it and once I flagged it, it disappeared.

Have people gone completely bloodthirsty at this point? :wtf:

I thought it was just those of us who kept the target map. I thought she had scrubbed her sight.

6. Shows how stupid they are.. only TWO survived the election (of the 20)
so unless they plan to murder people who were un-elected (pretty stupid) or 18 of their own (even MORE stupid)....well you get the idea..:rofl:

I'm sure he is right, they get these kinds of threats all the time and just ignore them. At this point, however, I think they need to make a stink over EVERY single e-mail threat (or threat by any other means of communication) that they get. Yell to high heaven about it such that the M$M will have to pay attention. Perhaps then, if enough public attention is brought to the matter, the American people will begin to see just how extensive and f'ed up this whole thing really is.

SHOUT IT TO THE ROOFTOPS DEMS!!!! :mad:

Edit = typo
