Maybe the real lesson to take from this tragedy
is not that someone with mental illness was influenced by violent political imagery and rhetoric, but that some forms of right wing behavior are uncomfortably close to behavior that occurs in some forms of mental illness, and that perhaps some right wingers need to be evaluated by behavioral professionals.
