I didn't bother with an unrec, but I could have. Sorry, but I just didn't think it was particularly good. i.e. creatively not particularly well done; not presenting anything I didn't know; and not something that I thought would be especially persuasive if someone disagreed with the perspective... basically a waste of time to read. But today I had time to waste, so here I am. ;-) If I had less time, I might have just hit the unrec button and not written anything. To me, "unrec" isn't a statement of agree or disagree, it's a statement of, is this worth taking time out of your day to see.

Defined this as fascism at its best in 1947. The book was later called 1984, not his original title, and not really science fiction. Read it. Also try Wilhem Reich's The Mass Psychology of Fascism written in 1946. These tactics are clearly defined in both books. And have been used by our government ever since.
