I'm sick of the pass the RW is getting. In my part of the country

I very rarely see anyone with Democratic-leaning bumperstickers anymore.
I've taken them off of my car.
The reason?
Our cars get vandalized.
I've spoken to many other Democrats in this area and they all say the same thing. They are TARGETS for the hate of the RW.
However, I haven't seen a decrease in cars with rw propaganda PLASTERED from from to back.
My guess is that those cars aren't vandalized because Democrats DON'T do that!

This is making me feel like I've been raped and the entire world is telling me to get over it, everybody has sex!

2. but, but, but it's both sides.
we put funny bumper stickers on our cars, they incite people to shoot us in the head then claim that's not what they meant by second amendment solutions. So you can see the balance.

4. Dude, get over it.
Sarcasm aside, I hear ya.

I don't know what to do about it either. I refuse to live in fear of it though.

6. Anyone who says "both sides do it" is part of the problem and culpable.

How many more have to die to get these people out of their denial.

9. Given the power of the RW Propaganda Machine, Lie Laundry and Squid-Ink Squirter
I am not sure it's possible to shake people out of their denial.

This Bushpublican "Kinder and Gentler Nazi v2.0" Train is going to reach it's final destination, or should we say it's Final Solution to the Liberal Problem.

The big question is why or maybe how this works/happened. But at some point the why/how doesn't matter anymore, all that matter is the freight train barreling down on us.

I have seen too many very smart and even conscious people who can't or even worse, simply WON'T see it, to have any illusions about what is coming.

Will the German Industralists keep control of their Nazi attack dogs this time, or once again will the Teabaggers overpower the aristocrats who funded them and bring sheer raw barbaric brutal madness to the world, as they did in 1933?

My money is on the aristocrats keeping the crazies on the leash this time. The American Corporatists of 2010 have learned from the mistakes of the German Industrialists of 1933.

Unfortuately, either option is likely to be full of injustice, barbarity, and unnecessary suffering. (by everyone but the Corporatsist and Brownshirts, because they'll be inflicting the suffering)

7. The talking points have been issued. Blame it on a 'lone nut'. Blame it on
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 12:39 PM by Poboy
Democrats too! Local talk radio (WWL am870) had the morning idiot on distancing any rhetoric they are so fond of using from the events. Of course it isn't the tea party! How silly it is to blame the Teabaggers. But what really pisses me off is how he went into lunacy when he suggested that instead, Democrats are to blame. Yes, all those voilent prone Democrats who carry guns to town halls and rallies. And I quote,"With Barney Frank being caught saying he'd rather talk to furniture than the people, its no wonder people are pissed off!" WTF kind of twisted, distorted, out of left field/irrelevent talking point is that?!

8. Welcome to the world some of us have been living in since around 1980.
Specifically, the drug war. I was a fugitive in my own country. I could have had my house forfeited because I wanted to grow cannabis instead of roaming the street trying to buy it.

And yes, I also have never put a left leaning bumpersticker on my car because of just what you said.

It's sad. What a stupid country. And by stupid I mean a minority. A minority that is far too big.

Teachers, not bombs.
