Meme of the Day 110110

No one who believes in conservatism can afford to believe in democracy.

Notes: In the face of a progressive demographic time bomb, conservatives are compelled to increasingly subvert the democratic process. This begins with corrupting the availability of information, so that democratic decisions cannot be based upon unbiased information. When this proves insufficient to stem the progressive tide, the process moves on to corrupting the mechanism for carrying out elections. Ultimately, when this too proves incapable of halting progress, only violent overthrow of democracy remains, beginning with minor incidents of low level force, as in the astroturf disruptions of the town hall meetings, moving through direct and proxy assassination of individuals, to ultimately destroying democracy by organised force, in order to preserve some 'patriotic' myth.
