At least as far as I've seen. Anything about his "life of struggle" seems to stimulate that big amygdala & get him flowing.

9. I perceive his crying only tied to fear/dishonesty and stress related to it, not to compassion.
Personally he might be the type of personality that might "blow" and his drinking sedates him. Just my two cents.
