UAW made vehicles are named North American Car / Truck of the Year

The Chevrolet Volt was named North American Car of the Year and the Ford Explorer was named North American Truck of the Year.

Both are UAW made: http://www.uaw.org/cars

...towards the "Big 3", I was trying to make the point that it's not just cars from the "Big 3" that win. I don't think he can accept that the Japanese / Korean companies can lose to an American-based company...
