"A crazy idea. Please help!" Sing Down Westboro Hate In Tucson
http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=494066101961&id=792420132

"Attention Arizona! I'm putting out a call to all musicians, singers, and church choirs in the Tucson area. Those evil whack-jobs from Westboro Baptist Church, (the God Hates Fags people who love to go to soldier's funerals and scream at grieving families) is planning to party on the graves of the six killed in the shooting. Including that of the little girl. Every singer, choir member, musician, should form a human barrier between WBC and the funerals and sing them down. I am completely serious. Contact the police from that area and do it all legitimately... there are rules for public demonstrations, follow them. Don't scream or rage, sing em down. Ask the families what their favorite hymns or songs are and sing the shit out of em'.

Anybody from Tucson want to help get in touch with churches and musical people down there?"

1. Don't show up, it enables them. Don't send a news crew it validates them
As despicable as Westboro is, ignore them. they are petty, vile, evil people who willhave to reconcile their hate with their creator when they too die.

Why validate their existence with a counter protest which will only make them yell louder?

2. Except, do you really think, for one minute that
there will be no press presence?? I say this is a great idea.

3. Because they can't protest when they're shown the reality of the situation.
A local high school kept them from saying anything when the students showed up en masse in opposition.

This is also about helping the families who should not have to face these scumbags alone.

5. That may be, but the WBC is a gross offense to grieving families.
Those people deserve to have their grief kept private and not exploited by hateful monsters. There will be press there regardless. It's the duty of sensitive, responsible citizens to shield the grieving as much as possible, to protect from the poisons of Phelps and his followers.

4. make sure there are sooo many people there
they can't find a place to park.

then make sure other people seal them in with junk cars that are booted by the authorities.
