Az Shooting New Attempt to Hinder Marijuana Legalization movement?
What's up with people in the media repeating that this nut was a pot smoker? Even though that may be a fact, it was just mentioned against by Taibbi of NBC on MSNBC with a gleam in his eye. What's his angle? Only pot smokers are capable of murder? Are people trying to bring back the ancient debunked propaganda that pot makes people violent?

1. He had quit smoking pot, according to acquaintances.
So maybe the lack of pot made him violent, but not the other way around.

2. Oh, well the guy on MSNBC didn't mention that
Which further leads me to believe he had an angle he was trying to push.

9. See we should legalize pot to REDUCE mass shootings.
Republicans play the fear card all the time.
Maybe the pro-legalization crowd should try it.

4. Paranoid? No
Just wondering why it keeps getting brought up as if it has something to do with the horrible act. Unless it's being made to force a connection. That's not paranoia to point that out.

8. According to the mother jones article
it was when he quit smoking dope that he got really weird. But I'm sure the facts don't mean much in this case.
