19. That's pretty much the point though - the RW keep their violence up and repeat it -

RW sites - heck, most minimally moderated mainstream boards like some of the Yahoo! boards revel in their RW call to violence posts, fellow-travellers and thinkers rolling over and over in them like a happy dog rolling in kennels full of poop.

DU threads that seem to be a call for any type of violence get locked, and any actionable posts get pulled. If you go looking for a threat of violence an hour or so after it was posted, you might have a bunch of people flapping their gums about the post, but the post itself will be gone, daddy, gone...and the poster will have a nice granite pizza next to their name.

It's just not tolerated. Rhetorical blowing off steam is one thing, but actual threats - nope.

And I don't think I'd be very far off of my guess that anything that is in the least bit realistically suspicious gets passed on to the FBI.

Like playing a tape of Obama during the election saying that that he was "angry" and understood others' anger, but we need to channel our anger into positive action.

I've responded to posts I felt were getting a little too close to this territory and asked if the poster was really advocating violence. Usually it had to do with how the corporations have bought and paid for our politicians and the only remedy was overthrow. Also it had to do with concentration of wealth. When I've made those comments, I usually come back to find the post has been locked or no longer exists.

I've seen a few long time posters getting a little overheated and I don't think they are serious about it, just frustrated. We don't do guns anyway. And it hasn't been too often, maybe 3 or 4 times that I have noticed.

The mods would know best.
