The Cult of Palin

I refuse to visit any Palin related site but I do read things posted here on DU from her Twitter and Facebook acct's, etc. And reading the comments coming her way after Saturday's tragedy is just amazing. Palin really does have her own little (or not so little) cult following and I don't know if she's really not aware of her ability to influence them or she does and doesn't care. I know how most on DU would say her opinions fall but really, is she more dangerous because she isn't aware or because she is?

She could be a total female Jim Jones. She could ask her followers to move to some remote area of Alaska and I'm convinced she could tell them to drink some kool-aid and they wouldn't quibble over the flavor.
