46. Never mind - not CNBC's fault - it was mine
Brighthouse offers the ability to start a show from the beginning if one joins late. I must have joined CNBC late - and without thinking, started it "over".

So I was watching a delayed broadcast.

Whew - restores my faith in their ticker.

duh.

bottom line he gets the CREDIT/BLAME.

So I'm smelling a big steamy plate of FAIL.

If the market was UP 1500 in a week... he'd be out there smiling ear to ear... so if it's DOWN as is the whole ECONOMY BTW... he should WEAR IT.

Give me 1995 any time...

Eurozone is tottering.

That is the short version.

(IMO this is also about structural weaknesses and the austerity just passed here... in other words, what part of the shit sandwich do you want to take primary blame? It will take a few historians after the dust settles)

I normally don't ever try to time the market, but this manufactured crisis could not be ignored.
So the money sits at ~4% a year. For now.

If he would have just initialed it, he could have saved 14 or 15 seconds.
Or, he should have used that auto signature thingy, that would have saved maybe a minute or two,
But what the hell.

this was the right wing plan all along. destroy the economy, and you destroy obamas re-election bid. quite simple to see actually. the right wingers hate obama more then they love their country. and they WILL destroy this country in order to get back in the white house

They did the same thing to President Carter in 1979 and 1980.
What we need to do is somehow work around the system, barter with each other, unionize with each other, and freeze the corporations out as much as we can.

Go back to buying at Mom and Pop stores, and break the Big Box stores monopoly on goods.
Marketing is very simple - the "4 P's" of marketing are -

Product
Price
Place
Promotion

We can go to farmer's markets and get our veggies.
We can get cheaper products at smaller chain stores, because they have to compete with Wal-mart, which is a freakin' monopoly.
We can shop at homegrown stores that are only local.
And we can spread the news (this is the promotion part) by word of mouth.

In the 60s the college kids didn't just talk about it, they did it!
They organized and put out the word.
We have the internet, a forum or two, and can use Twitter.
I think the corporations went too far this time in thinking that we are a captive audience and that we "have to" buy from them, we don't.

I buy off brands all the time now.
I never buy anything that is sold on tv because that type of promotion makes me sick.
When Bush was in office, I put off making any of the large purchases at all.
I used a broken down refrigerator for 2 years while that S.O.B. was the President!
