I was listening to an ad on Sirius radio for a Sirius Left program ...
It was for Mike Malloy's show at 9pm eastern time, 8pm central. I've listened to Mike off and on for the last 8-9 years. I haven't listened much recently because I've other responsibilities to take care of at that time over the last few years.

The ad had a sound clip of Mike referring to Bush 43 as a war criminal and mass murderer. Regardless of how I feel about this, I have to ask myself if this is what I want to listen to; is this rhetoric too over-the-top? Has it caused me to go out and do violence against Bush or anyone? No. Absolutely not. I wonder if it would cause another person who listens regularly to do so.

Your thoughtful comments would be appreciated, please. I love Mike and Kathy. And I have heard him discuss the threats that have been made against him, so much that he packs a weapon.

2. Calling someone a war criminal isn't a call to kill them.
It's a call to bring them to justice and their crimes into the light. George Bush, Cheney, et. al need to be brought into world court and tried for their crimes.

5. GWB War Criminal
Vincent Bugliosi wrote a book I think the last year of GWB, called; The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder

It was kind of a recipe for any State Attorney General to indict the psycho bitch.

I gave some money to somebody in Vt or NH that made that their campaign promise for state atty Gen. They didn't win.

6. Where exactly did Mike call me to pack heat and
take a shot at bush?

That is a major difference Never mind that he is the closest you could come to an actual example.

10. You're right: it's the closest I can think of in rhetoric that some right-wingers
would be offended by. It's name-calling, which isn't a call to violence. I've never heard him say anything that approached being a threat or incitement to violence. It was always a stress reliever for me to hear him lay it out there.

I guess I wanted to know if anyone thinks it's too much, or over-the-top, or uncivil.

7. What ^they said and....
We're asking for due process through the justice system, not assassination.

Unfortunately, the left doesn't have much control over our investigators, prosecutors or courts, either.

8. Are you saying that to speak the truth is to incite violence.
Bush is a war criminal, he is responsible for the death of many hundreds of thousands of people. He belongs in the Hague standing trial for his crimes.
