Facebook Activists: Please go to your local channel's facebook walls and post the following message:

"Any channel that shows any political ads by Americans for Prosperity or other Corporate Billionaire Welfare ads will get blocked from all of my family's cable boxes. Thank You!"

They make money from these ads, so we need to tell them they won't be getting viewers if they do! I hope everyone takes a second to do this. They are already lying nonstop here and it's only August 2011.

You don't have to actually block your channels or even have cable - but taking a quick moment to voice your opposition to these products of Bastards United er Citizens United, may have at least the impact of making fb friends and family aware of the displeasure and hopefully share in the repulsion of these corrupt corporatist lies.

1. Any idea what channels they run ads on? I don't think I've seen any.

The other thing we could all do is to write to the networks who run those ads and tell them that because of the ads we will NOT view their network shows. every network has a COntact Us link on their web site so it would be easy. That worked with Glen Beck, and he's gone! Wherever he's broadcasting now, I have no idea, but I suspect only his most ardent idiot followers are listening.
