I am convinced

The entire Federal Governmental System is rigged
It has been bought off.
It favors transfer of wealth from us to them.
The electoral system, the tax code, the laws, the regulations, they all are tilted to favor the investor class over the working class.

Money as "speech" is a terrible system.

Do we need to take to the streets?
Is that all that we have left?

1. Yeah - most people are pretty much boned.
We're so boned that I doubt even "taking it to the streets" would do anything, aside from giving everyone a Doobie Brothers earworm. We're boned, so I'm just going to do what I can to keep my head above water for as long as I can, vote for Democrats, and probably work until I die. Maybe I'll kick the bucket before the entire world goes to shit. I'm still going to do my damnedest to keep the fucking repubicans out of office though.

...but I will add that I will be voting against Republicans who have a "D" after their name if you know what I mean.

3. yes take to the streets.
Take over the party that you believe is supposed to be there for you.

Only as one of the two major parties can the system be fixed. We are starting the 4thTurning, we have to be ready to fix what the Great Oligarch Party has broken. The people believe in progressive and liberal ideas, but we need to give them public servants to vote for.

Get on your local Dem committee and encourage others who see as you do to do the same. with an actual populist movement we could even put a black man in the white house, oh wait we did that already...

With enough progressives wanting to see a return of government to we the people we can actual pass an end to corporate personhood. then a clean elections bill, or even, dare I say it, single payer health care!

One seat at a time, one door at a time.
