Ok folks here is a little thing about how HIGHER taxes
actually create jobs.

You see, when you have to pay higher taxes you can do that criminal thing and pay the guv'ment for things like roads and schools and all that lefty socialist stuff... or... you can INVEST IT into your own company.

This latter choice is one that actually leads to a job... and that sloth that you just hired, to protect your money from them grubby government funds, well not only does the sloth (er employee) pay taxes. It's not like he has such a shelter to hide funds from the state, but also buys stuff and things creating DEMAND.

In turn that increased demand means that others will NEED to hire more sloths... er employees to meet that demand.

Now note to my kind readers. I am using the less than friendly term sloth, because that is how they think about employees. Yes I've known a few of these bidness owners and more than a few of them DESPISE their workers, even if they depend on that demand to sell their baubles.

Proof is in the pudding... when has the economy been bad? Yes there is a correlation between LOW taxes and bad economies.

Of course the longer view includes silly times like the great depression and 1929... the last time that taxes were THIS LOW... as in the upper two percent.

2. You welcome, at times we need to really try to get into
their heads...

Alas why they INVESTED so heavily in the US oh back in the day when we had a 90% tax rate...

(And yes this is fairly simplistic... I am not even going into real tax shelters, and all that happy horse)

5. Oh it will happen... sadly after the explosion
but it will.

1929 you could not find ONE politico willing to do that either.

Yes, there was a communist party and an organized left but the grass root movement has started.

4. I noticed that Obama mentioned the historicness of this

Debt ceiling/Deficit reduction - (his words, mine would be "kabuki theater") in terms of the FACT that :

"The nation has never before been paying as much for programs and services."

What he fails to mention is that of course that statement is true. We are a larger country than we were under Eisenhower's 110 million person nation. We have more people, so naturally we have more programs and services.

And if we had an honest-to-God, hard working, honest media, someone would have mentioned this to him.

And then the case can be made that many of the programs that are superfluous are things like having TSA stand around to grope your privates and sniff your booty. Dispense with that nonsense (any real terrorist would have an organization backing them, such that the entire carry on luggage could be made out of plastic explosives) and then we are talking about saving some real money.

But Homeland Security, TSA and other SHITE programs are not going to be put through much of a chopping block. That is fairly obvious. For one thing, our millionaires and billionaires are invested heavily in the technology used at the airports.

It's going to be about our schools, Food Stamps, Medicare, health insurance and Social Security.

6. The media has never been friendly to be exact
Ok, friendly to the little people... aka the "sloths" I mentioned. I mean if they were not, they'd be out and about and use them bootstraps that god gave them! I mean that way they'd be selected by God. (YEs this is actually Calvinism on steroids)

9. He SAID that?!? Wow. It's worse than I thought. That's just like the half-truths and lies
we hear from the clueless. He knows better, though, and doesn't care because....? At least clinton believed that most of what he did and said was right. That's just sad. Now I'm sure that he has sold out. I know he knows better. Wow.

11. Politicians don't consider that they tell "lies" -
It's just "spin."

Which is why, of course, all of us feel so "spun!"
