The woman who beat the transgendered woman in a Baltimore McDonalds pled guilty today
http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2011/08/04/woman-19-pleads-guilty-in-videotaped-beating/

"Brown pled guilty to first-degree assault, which carries a 25-year maximum sentence. And to a hate crime, which carries 10 years. But under the plea deal, the state is only recommending she serve five years."

The victim reports she is still suffering, primarily because of the notoriety after the incident went viral on youtube.
