the local Fox News outlet is so different from their national affliation... |
|
that you can almost hear the eyes roll when they have to show the Fox News spin on national issues...
The reason I bring this up is that they sponsor this great program of collecting school supplies for the kids that don't have enough paper, pencils, pens and what not for the opening bell...
They really step it up to be a real part of the community.

6. Local Fox stations often have the best local news coverage, oddly enough |
|
Certainly in DC that's true -- also, the Washington Times (an otherwise odious conservative newspaper) has absolutely outstanding coverage of city politics.

7. The local news broadcasts do what the big 3 cable channels should do and that's to keep their bias |

9. They still go on about "Fair and Balanced" and "We report |
|
you decide." I can't stand to listen to that B.S. They say it over and over in their ads implying that there are no facts to any matter. That's purely tied to politics. I've never heard them apply their covert brainwashing to a story about, say, a house fire. "There was a fire on Green Bay's North side last night...or was there?" Covert brainwashing and bullshit.

They tend to keep it local. the CBS station is more red meat conservative.

10. Only if they are fox affiliates, Fox owns alot of their local stations |
|
Edited on Fri Aug-05-11 09:50 AM by pschoeb
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Fox_television_affiliates_(table) All the largest cities have stations owned and operated by Fox, these stations really really suck, as you get Fox bullshit both for national and local news.
