JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!
Congress is just not getting the message. IT IS ALL ABOUT JOBS. The economic situation is all about JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS! Stop the exodus of American jobs and capital overseas. Stop importing aliens to take what jobs are left. Stop wasting money on those damned eternal wars and concentrate on JOBS. Jobs = taxpayers = revenue. Hear us Congress! JOBS. Trying cutting your own benefits of health insurance and ridiculously absurd pensions and perks and experience real America for once. JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.

2. Congress...You need to step up to the plate.
Cut ALL tax loopholes and initiate a massive infrastructure bill. Keep it clean and simple. Funds can only be spent on roads, dams, bridges, lights etc. No need for bartering, wipe out all the loopholes so that it is fair.

You should be able to get the Tea Party to go with that. It benefits everyone equally, after all they have constituents too.

6. A job for young people: farming
I don't remember where I heard it, I think it was NPR, that in order to feed all Americans, 1,000,000 small farmers will be needed in the next 10 years. Here is an opportunity for a young person to make some money and get out of the unemployment market. The bad part is that the credit to buy land is so hard to come by right now. If I had money, I would be financing mortgages for people right now, including farms.

8. That might be related to the need for organic type farms.
That requries alot more labor. Not sure these are the kinds of jobs young people would interested in however... but who knows.

9. Only if their iPhones will work out in the fields and barns.
Sorry - I hate to stereotype, but that's what I see -- young people who can't take three steps without accessing their technology. Yours is a good idea though.

11. This country cannot base its economy mostly on services. It needs
manufacturing. We need to produce tangible goods. To hell with trade agreements that kill jobs. To hell with supporting dictatorial regimes that are growing fat off of slave labor that has replaced American jobs. To hell with the politicians who have created that scenario. This country needs JOBS. Permanent jobs that produce American made products. Create an environment to make that happen. Then we will compete with the world.
