So these so-called "Republicans" pushed us into another "dip" and no one is going
Edited on Fri Aug-05-11 05:40 AM by PCIntern
to start screaming on TeeVee that they did this and they "own" it?

The yelling from the rooftops should have started yesterday at about 2 PM EST...

that's how "THEY" would have done it in the reverse...

Now are we going to hear from our folks how we have to "work together" to "solve" this "problem"?

I think I feel my breakfast rising...no retirement for me or anyone I know...not a prayer. And we're the LUCKY ones.

1. We have never learned how to effectively spread a message.
I think party leaders originally thought it was too crass or undignified to put together lists of daily talking points to distribute to party memebers...but now the republicans are so far ahead of us in the PR world that there's probably no catching up.

2. My mother of blessed memory told me that that was true in Coolidge's time
as well.

She used to pitch a fit whenever they'd have, say Charlton Heston vs. Richard Dreyfuss, and Dreyfuss, while well-meaning, was just an hysteric and flubbed all the lines in that particular gun-control debate, while Heston continued to play Moses and Michaelangelo.

3. Those who own the media control the message.
Guess who doesn't own the media.

5. Yup, until people blame the ones that do the damage, there will be no recovery.
People insist on constructing ideologies out of lies and insist on running the world by that, and then they think nothing bad will happen.

Put morons and thieves in charge, and that will go well too.

We think we have a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card, to use on reality.

6. A TV Add Needs To Be Developed
Showing the picture, name, state represented and party affiliation of every Tea Party member whose stubborness caused this grief. It needs to state the economy is in the toliet and they caused it.
