Feds: Former Peace Corps Volunteer From Connecticut Molested Girls
Source: Hartford Courant

A former Peace Corps volunteer has been arrested on federal charges of sexually abusing young girls while serving in South Africa at a center that helped AIDS victims.

Jesse Osmun, of Milford, molested up to five children as young as age 5, some multiple times, and gave them candy, prosecutors said in court.

Osmun, 31, was arrested Thursday and charged with engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places. His attorney, federal public defender Sarah Merriam, declined to comment.

2. Connecticut. yup
When there is an OP re weird, bizarre, horrendous, etc. actions by anyone in Florida or Texas, there will often be a one word response in the thread - "Florida" or "Texas" - suggesting that's where all the weird stuff happens.

Turn about is fair play.

There is no geographic boundary to weird. It is everywhere

3. But as a native and lifelong Floridian
I have to admit my state has a ridiculously high rate of weird. My son says the same about his adopted state of Texas. It's not prejudice when it's true.

4. I agree....
we have our fair share of weird, bizarre and horrendous here.
It's just a smaller state, so the actual incidents aren't quite as numerous.
