Beware the "I" of March
Unprincipled politicians are universally despised by left, right and center. They send their reps to do a job and that job gets watered down if done at all. It makes people cynical.

We have our DINOs, they have their RINOs. Apart from the Greens and libertarians, the TP is the only game in town holding the line on what they believe. Unlike the Greens and libertarians they have a congressional caucus and get more media time. A LOT more media time but their critics are partly to blame for that because there is no such thing as bad advertising.

Worse still is the nature of that criticism. What TP critics say, and they're 100% correct, is, "they're not compromising!" but to the average guy that comes across as "they're not compromising." That's hardly a criticism in a political world drowning in cynicism.

Face it, we hate it when our guys compromise. Isn't that a substantial portion of the complaints here, on this very board?

Yet, the reason our guys keep compromising is because *we* keep compromising. No matter how many times they shaft us saying "that bill was the best deal we could get" we send them back the very next election because we say "that's the best candidate we can get."

We elect them to represent us and by golly--they do.
