Jury convicts 5 New Orleans police officers in post-Katrina Danziger Bridge shootings
Jury is delivering Danziger Bridge verdicts

The jury has returned to the courtrooom and indicated that verdicts have been reached. All 25 counts are listed below; The Times-Picayune is updating the results, count by count, as they are read.
Count 1
Deprivation of James Brissette's civil rights
Kenneth Bowen: Guilty
Robert Gisevius: Guilty
Robert Faulcon: Guilty
Anthony Villavaso: Guilty
If guilty, jury must answer this question:
Did the offense result in the death of James Brissette?

Count 2
Use of a firearm in the Brissette shooting (only to be considered if at least one defendant is found guilty in Count 1)
Kenneth Bowen: Guilty
Robert Gisevius: Guilty
Robert Faulcon: Guilty
Anthony Villavaso: Guilty
For any defendant found guilty of Count 2, jury must answer this question: Did the defendant's use of a firearm cause the death of James Brissette?
Kenneth Bowen: Guilty
Robert Gisevius: Guilty
Robert Faulcon: Guilty
Anthony Villavaso: Guilty
If the answer for any of those defendants was yes, the jury must also answer this question:
Did the death of James Brissette involve circumstances constituting murder? No.

2. I listened to internet streams of radio broadcasts
I spent 10+ hours a day with 2 streams going. There were a lot of police as well as other radio communications. Lots of people were confused, scared, exhausted, low on food, water, and information and still trying to help for 20+ hours a day. There were lots of reports of shots fired as police were trying to clear areas for helicopters to come in for rescues and cases where helicopters left for another rescue because they didn't feel safe.

I'm going to trust the jury on this one.
