Poll question: A simple way of looking at things
The problems with our economy are systemic. The incumbent, dominant players have thrived on the system as it stands. They have captured our regulators, failed to create jobs and have not provided for stable growth, even as they themselves thrive. They are also completely corrosive to our politics. Over the period of their ascendancy, life for the average person has become less stable, their wages have stagnated, and the wealth gap has widened. We have to make a systemic change, but any such change will discomfit those dominant players, which brings me to my question:

Have our party leaders shown the ability or inclination to significantly challenge the dominant players in our economy?
