President Romney/Bachmann's Secret Stimulus Policy - A Major War With Iran!

I am not talking President Obama's wimpy remote control war with Libya in which we backstop Libyan rebels with drones or Bill Clinton's bomb Serbia from afar. Both wars did not involve any land invasions by U.S. troops with the U.S. largely just offering support to an internal conflict. In other words, the American people did not really believe the U.S. was at war.

I am talking about a brand spanking new shock and awe type war with a new country. The Iraq war will be largely over. Afganistan will be in the process of winding down. Every Republican President since Reagan has started a brand new war with a ground presense, so will the lucky invadee be? My money is on Iran.

Why war? Well, it is an acceptable way for Republican presidents to throw aside their earlier promises for fiscal restraint and shovel money to the defense industry! Billions get shoveled into the defense industry which will help create jobs! Its an evil form of Keynsian economics. Pump money into the economy to kill people. Also, it insulates them for a time from any criticism of their domestic policies, because criticism of a Republican President during war time endangers our troops!

Finally, by invading Iran, Republican Presidents get to score points with Jewish voters and the Left Behind Evangelical crowd because the Israeli right wing government would cheerlead the invasion. An Iran war allows a Republican president to sew up support among the anti-Muslim crowd.

Both Romney and Backmann are using identical language saying that the U.S. needs to do more than just talk on Iran. What do you think that they mean?
