Thirty one US troops among the dead, breaking on CNN now. Barbara Starr reporting. Goddamn this fucking war!

on edit: majority of those killed were elite Navy SEALS.

Nothing would surprise me. We should have packed up and left as soon as we got Bin Laden. That was our Mission Accomplished moment. But no, we just start more wars, either overtly or covertly. WE NEVER LEARN.

If past is prologue, we will never leave Iraq or Afghanistan. As Ron Reagan, Jr. says, they border Iran, so we're not going anywhere.
