Perry's A&M Transcript Revealed - not very impressive.
http://www.kbtx.com/news/headlines/Perrys_AM_Transcript_Revealed_126858783.html

"WASHINGTON -- As governor of Texas, Rick Perry has pursued a controversial agenda that would gut Texas' vaunted public university system in favor of something that more closely resembles a business.

As the Washington Post reported on Thursday, professors have been ranked according to how profitable they were to the university. Previous reports suggested Perry wanted to treat students as "customers" and tie teacher bonuses to anonymous student evaluations.

One reason that might explain his hostility toward the system: He didn't do very well in it. A source in Texas passed The Huffington Post Perry's transcripts from his years at Texas A&M University. The future politician did not distinguish himself much in the classroom. While he later became a student leader, he had to get out of academic probation to do so. He rarely earned anything above a C in his courses -- earning a C in U.S. History, a D in Shakespeare, and a D in the principles of economics. Perry got a C in gym.

Perry also did poorly on classes within his animal science major. In fall semester 1970, he received a D in veterinary anatomy, a F in a second course on organic chemistry and a C in animal breeding. He did get an A in world military systems and “Improv. of Learning” -- his only two As while at A&M.

"A&M wasn't exactly Harvard on the Brazos River," recalled a Perry classmate in an interview with The Huffington Post. "This was not the brightest guy around. We always kind of laughed. He was always kind of a joke.""

1. Compare Perry with China's leadership
Most Chinese leadership have science and engineering degrees, while Perry has poor grades in chemistry, physics and math.

3. Perry is a loser and probably hated college.
It would explain his burning hatred for intellectuals. Wow I did so much better at A&M, guess that is what happens when you TRY! :eyes:

4. He's an Aggie ...... Anyone from U of Texas has tons of jokes about Aggies
and they are all true.

There were three Aggies huddled around each other at a local bar. All of a sudden, they jumped up and yelled,
"Yeah, 45! 45!" The bartender goes down to them and asks, "45? What are you guys so excited about?"
One of the Aggies speaks up: "We just finished a jigsaw puzzle. The box said 2 to 3 years, and we did it in 45 days!"

Did you hear about the Aggie terrorist who tried to blow up the Longhorn team bus.
He burned his lip on the tailpipe.

How can you tell an Aggie is on location at a drilling rig?
He's the one throwing bread to the helicopters.

5. How do you keep 4 Aggies busy all day?
Stick them in a round room and tell them to pee in a corner.

7. When I was at TAMU in the 80's, Aggies told a lot of jokes about Aggies
At that point the 'official' collection of Aggie jokes was over a dozen volumes.

Q: How many Aggies does it take to eat an Armadillo?

A: Two. One to eat and one to watch for traffic.

11. US is going to be really thrown back on its ass in the 21st century, unable to
keep up with the competition, if we get more fools like Bush in office. These fools haven't noticed the rest of the world has and admires intelligence. Eventually, the US will have no value added, delegated to the role of a third world country.
