1. How can anyone know what is real anymore?
Most of these guys probably has some sort of investment that BET this would happen, so they wanted it to happen, so they helped make it happen, so they'd make a killing of of it happening. The game is totally rigged. "The House" (ironic that that's the term) will always win, the little guys at the table will always lose. No different during this phony crisis...phony to them. To us who will lose big, it's very real.

2. As crazy as it sounds, in the plus column. But by very little.
I think that's how this week is going to end, anyway. There's a longer term view that I'm thinking of- something which hasn't been mentioned much (to my knowledge): We are in a cold war with other economies, currencies and we must come out on top to survive. A lot of this money in the American markets is American and unless they're willing to abandon America entirely, and possibly physically, the people who control this money have an interest in seeing America still breathing. The rest of the world has taken a beating and, and I apologize if this sounds a bit cold and calculating, but now is the market's best chance to fuck over the rest of the world, prop our country up and give a little kick to currencies like the Euro as we try to get on top.

We need to pull the ripcord on the chute now because (especially) the Dollar and the Euro are both very close to splatting. The Euro is in for much more trouble.

Remember, you don't have to outrun the bear. You just have to outrun anyone else running away from it too.

3. I wish it would be in the Plus column at the end of the day
A little late but I have sell orders on my "High Risk" investments today and I'll be given the "Closing" price at the end of the day

but personally I don't expect this to bottom out until 10,000 or even Mid 9000s
