But I love my little buddies

When we first moved out here to the woods 15 years ago we couldn't go outside from May to the first frost. The mosquitoes would literally eat us alive, and they would somehow get into the house as well.

So we put up three bat houses, and the mosquitoes are virtually non-existent.

A few years ago I got real worried when that white nose fungus went around, killing off whole colonies out my way. But my three little colonies survived, thank goodness.
