REUTERS
Reuters US Online Report Politics News

Aug 08, 2011 17:04 EDT

The Senate Banking Committee is reportedly investigating the decision by Standard & Poor's last week to downgrade the credit rating of the United States to AA+ from AAA.

Citing an undisclosed committee aide, Reuters said the panel is in the process of gathering information about the downgrade but that it had not decided whether hearings will be held to examine the decision.

7. Those bozos got some balls. Why don't they investigate
their own ineptitude and stupidity, which almost resulted in a sovereign default, first?

8. Good for them!
Hopefully, they'll come to their senses and put these criminals where they belong--in prison!

10. Yup.
They can pass a law making what they did illegal, and then have them arrested.

Or perhaps Obama could just order them detained indefinitely. That, raising the debt ceiling, not a big difference.

Amazing.
