I think they'll reassure liquidity for the markets tomorrow as it will be another down day. By month's end, I think we will be hearing about a QE3 of around $1T, maybe a jobs package to boot.

21. If there's more money to be printed, it will probably go to prop up... |
|
the zombie banks. Although, it might be cheaper to just let them fold and have the FDIC give everybody their money back at this point.

We will not be able to get around that... I wonder if this will be before or after the depression though.

23. Around $38, but silver typically delays golds moves by a day or so. |
|
IIRC, high point a few months back was $48, so I agree with you. Silver has a much farther way to go, IMO.

27. It was $1643 the other day when I took something that was 26 grams of gold... there was |
|
some question about what karat it was - (the lady said at first that it probably wasn't real gold, but gold plated brass, but the test proved it solid gold) - so we were told it was probably 10K. And they offered us $8.00 a gram, which would have been $208. It would have been worth nearly $600 if it is 10K and considerably more if it is 14K.
I wasn't looking to sell(but might have if it were worth enough); I wanted an appraisal.
Those buying gold jewelry from people who need money enough to sell heirlooms are thieves. I don't mind them making a profit, but two thirds plus is outrageous.

31. If you really are considering selling, |
|
have several places give you a price for it, and go to reputable businesses that have been around for a long time. What you were offered was probably way off base, but you will never know unless you check more buyers. There is a large number of scams that have popped up recently, so seller beware.
