Republican-voting folks from rural areas "waking up" -- do you get that sense as well?

Working on one of the recalls. Rural areas are a little bit hard. In our district, some people were very energized and awoken but others were Faux News watching Walker robots.

7. What I'm encouraged by is that so many traditional Republicans |
|
(I'm thinking firefighters, police) have called bullshit.
God - I'm so nervous about tomorrow's outcome. :scared:

One of the best stories I have is when I was circulating a petition at an elementary school pick up. One Mom stopped by and signed saying that she's been a Republican her entire life, but they're messing with her baby now, and she happily signed. Hopefully she'll be one of the flipped votes.

12. Wisconsin Public Radio has a weekly call-in show with a Democrat & a Republican. |
|
At the end of the show, the last question the host asked them was about the recall elections. Well, you know what the Democrat said, but the Republican was a public employee who ran as a Republican for Congress and he had exactly the same viewpoint.
Hopefully there are union members, both public and private, who in the past have voted Republican and against their own interests who may be finally waking up to what the GOP has in store for them.

I expect a Huge turnout there tomorrow. Let's hope the GOP hasn't figured out a way to cheat.
Has there been an arrest for the arson of that Democratic recall office?

Sorry, I haven't heard a thing about an arrest. If there is one, we can rest assured it'll be all over DU. :7 :
