Over 30,000 Georgia residents waited-some for days-in a downtown parking lot for Section 8 housing applications.
I don't recall this story receiving very much press when it happened, aside from a ten-second "flash" on CNN. This appears to be the de facto image. It's odd that there appears to be no other images of the stampede that occurred. I wonder if cameras were prohibited? If so, then we are in even more trouble than I thought.
