Today is Wisconsin's Great Day! I hope Wisconsin's Democrats will
show the example of how to deal with a greedy and ruthless tyrant -- an example
for the rest of the nation's Democrats to follow.

Wisconsin, Excelsior!!!

The weather is going to be good, the voters are educated and motivated.

Now, it all hangs on turn out. Percentage turnout could reach the levels of presidential elections.

3. It is more critical than we realize, the symbolism of what happens can speak volumes
and boost activism everywhere.

13. I think it's critical for the crazies, too. They'll be practicing election and voting fraud
as never before.

4. Where Wisconsin Courage comes from:
At the Battle of Missionary Ridge on November 25, 1863 during the Chattanooga Campaign, the 18-year-old MacArthur inspired his regiment by seizing and planting the regimental flag on the crest of Missionary Ridge at a particularly critical moment, shouting "On Wisconsin." For these actions, he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

courtesy of wiki...but matches the account shown at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison...

Wisconsin today will plant the battle flag of working men and women on Governor Walker's battle-field and strike a blow for the rest of the country...

truly

ON WISCONSIN!

7. Even if you are not religious...
Say a prayer, meditate, send strong vibes
to the voters of Wisconsin, that the election
clear the Senate of the Walker clones,
and the people of Wisconsin can begin the move back
to People Power.

Say it with me: "OOOoommmmm Wisconsin!"

8. We're up against a well funded, ruthless machine.
(The Koch bros. and the De Vos Amway family from Michigan) But I think they're going to get their asses handed to them by "we the people." I'm holding my breath and hoping the results are what we are hoping for. There's voting all around me but not in my district, so I feel like I'm going to come out of my skin not having anything proactive to do today!! I'm sure I'm not alone.

10. Not to mention all districts are Republican Districts and the last election
Those Republicans won by Huge margins.. This will be a miracle if Democrats can pull this off. Everything is stacked against them except enthusiasm.

11. Afraid you're right...
... And we haven't even considered rigged voting machines and corrupt counts. I'm waiting for a precinct to report 180% of registered voters turning out.

honesty and integrity to be triumphing again? We are dealing with
criminals, you know! Politics has degenerated to such a low! Democrats
must turn out in huge numbers for the miracle to come true.
