Jobs are not growing because it is cheaper to make shit halfway around the world and sell them here than to just make them here.

The economics going the other way are not quite as favorable to us. All things being equal, including costs, our goods cost more there because they have tariffs that artificially affect the price. Maybe its time for us to have a few tariffs of our own?

the first 10 or 20 years there was a 5% to 15% tariff on every item imported. It paid 100% to 90% of all of the Federal cost of government and built up all of our industries.
