3. Don't they typically play cricket?
Doesn't this mean that they're not going to be used for their original purpose?

:P

4. Very simple home defense.
Take an aluminum baseball bat. Drill and tap some holes in it near the end. Screw some big bolts into those holes.

You end up with a hand weapon with an adjustable damage level. Let the bolts stick up a bit, and you can punch holes in skulls and rip chunks of meat off people. Screw them all the way down and you just leave bloody welts.

The real advantage of the bolts is that even glancing blows cause damage. This is really important in a home, where you might not have the room to take a full swing.

5. I will take careful note of this information.
It could prove especially helpful during a zombie invasion. I used to think that a .22 and a Samurai sword were the ultimate zombie weapons. I think I've got a new preferred melee weapon.

7. Lol. I actually used to have one of these.
When I was younger, I had a tapped bat sitting inside my closet next to my front door. I lived in a pretty crappy neighborhood, and that bat was always in my hand when I answered the door after dark. I actually took it a bit further, and sharpened the edges on the bolts so they'd act like dozens of tiny knives as they hit someone.

I never had to use it, but for a poor kid living in an alley apartment in a shitty neighborhood, it was cheap home defense.

And, yes, it works great on zombies :)
