Civic involvement at all levels is the only way to get our ideas aired. Republicans made an effort to take over school boards, and we have actually seen challenges to teaching evolution. That was no accident it has been orchestrated across the country.
We need to participate in government and local civic organizations if we are going to get candidates we support elected.
Of course there is also the option of running ourselves. :)

27. It's a Two Party System. Republicans will win eventually. So will Democrats.
They just know how to regroup during losses and spin losses to their advantage, whereas we panic and give them whatever they want, thereby insuring failure.
