1. No. Some aren't identified yet and military / press need family prior approval.

It's essentially their call, iirc.

:hi:

(on edit) There have been some individual profile pieces, in coordation with the family, on TV (CNN) but no general scenes from Dover.

2. They have been shown when the families consent
The Obama Administration changed the Bush policy of no press access to permit access when that is the wish of the families.

In this case, the reason given for no press access was that the remains are, as yet, 'unidentified.' With such a large number, though, I wonder whether ALL of the families would have agreed to press coverage.

3. This administration HAS lifted the Bush admin ban on filming caskets
with the approval of the families.

They did that a while ago. Unlike the GWB administration, they've also started issuing condolence letters to soldiers who have committed suicide.

Stop getting sucked into the MSM spin and find out what's really going on.

4. Media barred from ceremonies for 30 troops killed in Afghanistan

The condition of the bodies prevents positive separate identification, a Pentagon spokeswoman said, and DOD rules require family permission to view the transfer of remains.

“Because the remains are unidentified at this point, next-of-kin are not in a position to grant approval for the media access to the dignified transfer,” DOD spokeswoman Capt. Jane Campbell wrote in a press release. “Therefore, in accordance with DoD policy, no media coverage of the arrival and dignified transfer is permitted. Families will however, be given the opportunity to be present for the arrival.”

A blanket ban on media coverage of honor guard ceremonies marking the return of servicemember remains was lifted by President Barack Obama in 2009. The ceremonies had previously been off-limits regardless of the wishes of families. Some critics of the ban, instituted in 1991, said it was designed to divert attention from the grim costs of war.

5. They returned burned bodyparts.. They don't even know which "parts"
belong to which names on the manifest.. :(

Those people who work at the mortuary services will have to do DNA to try to match parts with names .. (That's a job I could never do..)
