1. Ok lets start with Treason
under the founding fathers treason was dealt with by hanging. I could go for a few public hangings, really put the fear of God into the tea baggers.

2. Values of the Founding Fathers?
That would be the Separation of Church and State, a government not guided by religious doctrine, reason of passion, the continuation of slavery, the franchise for white males over the age of 21 who own property, slaves counted as 3/5 of a person. Which of these values do you think she endorses?

3. founding grandfathers & great-grandfathers
held witch-hunts (the literal kind, as in witch trial) as part of their puritanical value system (on the enforcement side).

or the ones that planted you here from outerspace?

22. The reference to the FF ending slavery was by BS Bachmann
not Quitterella.

9. I agree with Sarah
Progressive taxation has a long history: As Jefferson said in a 1785 letter to James Madison, "Another means of silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise"

Sarah says we need to start here.............

12. I guess she's not planning to run, then.
She wouldn't have been eligible in the days of the Founders. Hell, she couldn't even own property at the time or vote, or much of anything else but have babies and sew.

13. Well Sarah, by those standards, you wouldn't be allowed to vote or run for office.
How's that working for you?

15. LOL! And 'The Jeffersons' was a spinoff from 'All in the Family,' which fits perfectly
Palin is Archie Bunker with lipstick and a skirt. And if you don't agree with her, you can go "stifle yourself." :)

24. Let's not get carried away
Levi having a grudge against the Palins does not make him a Liberal hero, or anything close to it.

In the show, 'Meathead' Mike did actually represent the Liberal POV. Levi, not so much. :)

having and conceiving her grandkids out of wedlock? Well, maybe not much, but they'd still have a reputation.

25. The British were quickly disqualified for bad teeth :)
And horrible cooking (BOILED meat? What were they thinking?) :)

The one I'd like to see more of is Lionel. A very smart guy, who managed to counter Archie in subtle ways.

Sorry about the Brits, DenverDad, but they were not part of this equation.

26. Lionel WAS a great counter
to Archie on All in the Family. His irony was a nice balance when Mike(Meathead) was "preachy".
