1. As much as I want to support Obama--he is "bought" too...
Especially as he faces an uphill reelection. This is the bastardization of our elections that was completed by Citizens United.

4. Yep, he is. IMO all of this really illustrates how seriously our gov.
needs reform. Our gov. is for sale to the highest bidder as is our entire country, which anymore has little to do with being about what's best for the country and the people.

7. LOL! He's not facing an "uphill" election.
Maybe on DU, but not in real life.

8. Statistically he is, unless the economy improves...
I certainly believe he will be reelected and of course incumbents are generally hard to beat, but in seriously bad economies, it happens. Just ask George H. W. Bush and Jimmy Carter. Let's not get overly confident--even if the opposition field is so weak.

2. Our "syle" of governance guarantees that most will be "owned"
by big business.

6. And when the majority of the citizens lose the entire country loses too and
this is how failed empires come about. This is so sad to see occurring.

3. And then there's old Harry Reid, naming Baucus to the committee. WTF is wrong
with Reid anyway?

5. only way around them...
is to ignore the constitution and make laws on his own....what bullshit from Ratigan's mouth! Ratigan thinks that if Obama gives a "tough speech" about what needs to be done then the repubs all of a sudden will agree to help Obama make things better for this country...BUKLLSHIT!
