Florida director Slade O’Brien told Politijax the turnout was “shocking.” AFP’s tour is trying to convince Floridians to support increased offshore drilling in the wake of the BP disaster.
One oil spill like BP's is enough for most people, particularly those whom live nearby. I guess for some people like AFP, one oil spill is never enough. :eyes: :puke:

6. Maybe they're starting to realize that voting against one's own economic self-interest is |
|
just, well, stupid. The only way they're going to get rich is to hit the lotto, and they'd probably get hit by a bus sooner!!

3. Americans for Prosperity "of,by and for Corporations"! Real Truth! |
|
The people are finally getting the truth about what these faux GRASS ROOTS organizations really stand for. It made me sick yesterday, watch the OLD COOTS in WI bragging about the TPARTY being the reason for the Market failures and the grading fall by S&P. The old bags are getting the message: they came for the poor, the unions, the middle class and now they want your Social Security and Medicare to support their tax cuts for the rich and evisceration of govt.

But with an attendance of 15, I expect to see full coverage on every channel of every newscast for the next week.

With several sympathetic on-camera comments about how those 15 people really represent a very large swath of the local population, but they couldn't quite make it to the rally. So, really, it's only fair to say that there were 15,000 people there, you know?

5. The only thing left from the tea party are the koch brothers. |
|
it even appears that their sweetheart from the frozen north is losing interest. The only thing left to do is get the people they got elected to congress and state governments, back out of office. Hopefully, Wisconsin is gonna show us the way today!
