Ed made an excellent point that we should heed.

No matter how angry people may be (or we think they should be), nothing is going to come easy for us and, if we want to fight back the tide of tea baggers, we better be ready to fight and claw for every single victory.

3. What is important is to understand that
Edited on Tue Aug-09-11 11:48 PM by FrenchieCat
whatever happens election night 2012, I want to make sure that I don't go to sleep and wake up living in a nightmare. Did that via Gore v. Bush, and my understanding is that lessons are meant to be learned, not relived. We all understand that once an election's been called, all of the woulda/shoulda/coulda in the entire world, won't make an election become undone. And playing the blame game won't change the fucked up shit that we would have to endure for 4 or 8 years. Look at the hard time they had in Wisconsin...and they were working very, very hard!

7. We have to re-educate the public.
The media do everything to confuse and distract the public from the real issues.

9. We need succinct hand-outs on the issues with talking points
that are stated in language that people want to remember.

6. Some would argue that 'sitting on ass' makes a wonderful statement.
"some" being code for "fucking morons", in case you're wondering.
