So-called liberal media declare Wisconsin recalls a big "setback" for Dems
Democrats failed late Tuesday in their effort to gain control of the Wisconsin state senate as Republican incumbents won four of six recall elections.

The outcome was a big setback for Democrats, organized labor, and progressive groups who'd sought retribution against six GOPallies of Gov. Scott Walker, who earlier this year enacted a labor law overhaul that ended collective bargaining rights for many public sector workers.

The recall elections attracted millions of dollars of investment from both liberals and conservatives across the nation.

2. Olberman could not build Current TV fast enough.
I am sick of MSNBC's bullshit. CNN is the new FOX News and Fox news has went so far off the cliff that they are blatantly false, unreliable and corrupt.

I have not moved to the left, these Networks have moved to the right.

3. These morAns scare me A LOT!
After the Repukes shit all over them, they still voted for these assholes. Is a recall really going to work against Walker? Perhaps the deciding district will be lets say District 8. LOL! Of all states, all the protests, WI should have kicked ass. How is the rest of America going to wake up? How do we tell the future lotto "Millionaires" they are screwing themselves? What part of taxing the rich to help the poor don't the extreme "christians" understand?

5. Don't lose heart. Wisconsin Democrats showed what fighters
they are. They will succeed in the end. Just give the Republicans enough rope to hang themselves.

I think this is a great outcome.

4. Hey we have two more votes than we did before the recall.
I call that victory. Two more votes and room to maneuver for a majority on some issues. It's just great, and I thank all in Wisconsin who worked for this.

In fact, allowing the Republicans to continue to have a majority may strengthen the appeal of a Walker recall. A lot of voters who supported the incumbent in this election may be thoroughly fed up when the Walker recall comes to a vote.

Just keep your head up and don't look down. Wisconsin, you did a great job and should pat yourselves on the back.

Ohio, take heed. Wisconsin is way ahead of you.

It looks like it was pretty much business as usual...

7. Given the enormous investment of people and money, the elections didn't make enough of a difference
Close, but not quite enough.

8. Yeah, well, it was a huge setback...
Momentum for these sort of things is difficult to build and hold on to. Our efforts culminated in a massive, massive effort in Wisconsin and our only real success was beating the guy who cheated on his wife by 2 points. Yes, Shilling won too but it was expected we would take that district.

And we still need to defend 2 seats next week, one of which is vulnerable.

So no, I don't buy into all the happy talk. We did not take the state senate and as such don't have the ability to really harass Walker and block his legislation going forward. And don't hold you hat on Dale Schultz, he isn't going to switch party's and the most controversial of Walker's proposals are already signed into law so he isn't going to be helping us.

9. I have the feeling that Walker see this as an endorsement of his policies.
