and she defends her cubs..

How do they know these were "the guys"?

I am sad for the families of these people, but in wartime, shit like this happens all the time..It's how war works..

I noticed today that MSNBC is still calling it a "crash", instead of a shoot-down..

Gigantic helicopters have always been targets...and will always be.

2. like they know
"The strike killed Taliban leader Mullah Mohibullah and the insurgent who fired the shot associated with the Aug. 6 downing of the CH-47 helicopter, which resulted in the deaths of 38 Afghan and coalition service members," the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said in a statement.

whatever.

5. I'm sure a press release proves it
They wouldn't just make this claim out of thin air.

I'm sure there's a press release that gives all the information that can be released without jeopardizing national security, and that we all should believe what it says.

14. Of course they know. They had a team from "Law and Order" who checked
everyone for gun shot residue.

"That's the one!" they exclaimed.

3. We need to be out of there yesterday
We are not doing anyone any good being there. In fact I think we are making the Taliban stronger by being there. I just wish that before we left we gave every female the opportunity for safe passage to the US but that would never happen. No one cares about the women, who are the true victims of it all.

13. I doubt it...
...but assuming it's all true, we lost a helicopter and thirty soldires and several millions of dollars. They used up an rpg and lost a handful of solders. Guess what? They won that battle hands down! And they can keep winning those battles 'til we're bankrupt.
