and way too much of the rawhide comes from Brazil. If you are concerned about the dyes and chemicals used overseas in the manufacture of your furbabies' toys, go here

1. Thanks for the links!
I hope you put this in the Pets forum, too.

My daughter has gotten pet toys for us that are made by a friend of hers from Chicago. The lady sells her toys to various stores there.

I love Murray!

6. If I could clone Murray, so many lives would be complete
When I bring him to work, they announce that he's in the building so everyone can have their 'murray time'. He is THE sweetest and gentlest dog I have ever owned. And children, he LOVES kids. Took him to Petsmart on Sunday, he saw this little blond kid and PULLED me over to say hi, goes up in his beg position and puts his front paws on the kid's shoulders and gives him a bath. It was an amazing moment. The kid then goes to his dad "I want a small dog" which means they have big dogs. He loves people he loves kids, he is wonderful. I hope to have some video soon.

4. Our dogs prefer tennis balls, knotted up socks and
twisted ropes and frisbees anyway. I know the balls and frisbees are probably also made elsewhere, but there are homemade toys you can entertain your dogs with.

5. Only some of the toys on that site are made in the USA.
At least they tell you. However, I've found many USA made dog toys at the local farm supply store. A guy has to look. I suspect you can find some USA made toys at PetSmart, too. Have you checked them all?

9. Recently discovered this myself when son moved back home w/pup.
I go w/Brazil b/4 China, but disappointed by the situation. I've actually considered making some myself, perhaps evolving into a business.

10. Furbaby toys
Thanks. I am going to order from Best Friends from now on. The other thing at Petsmart is that all the cat and dog bowls (ceramic) are from China.
