It seems to me they might drink a lot. This could explain their meanness. The local republicans drink a lot.
I would like to see all of the congress take a Breathalyzer test before entering the congress everyday.

What do you think?.

I think we deserve sober representation.

1. Some may be drunks; all of them are mean.
Their problem is not so much alcoholism as sociopathy.

3. Well, I don't know. My father is a drunk and a mean person and he's a Republican, but that's
only him. It's not like a scientific poll. But I've been noticing a lot of GOP'ers picked up on DUI's and there are certainly a lot of MEAN republicans that's for sure. Maybe there is some link there. I wonder if alcoholics in general are more likely to vote Republican? Don't know if a study has ever been done or not. I know that long-term alcoholism causes changes in the brain (not good changes) - I've seen MRI's of the result - and that long-term drinking like that can challenge the ability to think clearly and make good decisions, so that would certainly make a person more likely to vote republican, too.

8. Drunk on power for sure
Who knows about alcohol? I'm sure if they are drinking, it's not to drown their conscious, they don't have one.
