1. How was the meeting overall? |
|
Was it civil or did he have his goons to keep "dissenters" quiet? I was swamped with work (self-employed)so I didn't go, but I don't think that I would have missed much more than the standard repuke propaganda. I commend you for going and toughing it out.

2. my first town hall....about 400 people...many cops...he had 3 |
|
other congressmen there all docs...they basically ran the meeting...did a lot of talking...near 8:25 some guy in the audience started shouting out and they stopped that...I left while questions were still being asked...thought it was boring..
the thing about the 15 member panel and what they did and their salaries will be...was mentioned several times...even on the wall during a Q&A...they are going to float this as a new talking point (IMO) and its on Rigels fb page too...bet they tie it to the old death panel meme.
there were a few dems there..one guy criticized the tea party and got booed...ha!

3. funny how the people spouting about "death panels" forget the charter member ... |
|
George W. Bush ... personally sent over 100 people to their deaths ... despite being the "party of life" candidate (and, of course, getting the "anti-death penalty" Catholics' votes ...)
