Principal of church-run school killed in classroom
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 49-year-old principal was found dead in a pool of blood Wednesday morning in a classroom at the church-run school she ran, police said.

A 17-year-old male student from the school was in custody, according to NBC station WMC.

Police said the body of Suzette York, was found around 11 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist's Memphis Junior Academy. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported.
